HQCA publishes Simulation-based Mock-up Evaluation Framework

Posted May 12, 2016

The Simulation-Based Mock-up Evaluation Framework was developed by the Health Quality Council of Alberta (HQCA) in collaboration with experts in human factors, healthcare design, and patient simulation as well as provincial and national stakeholders. It outlines an approach to collect and analyze data from mock-up healthcare environments, includes examples of recent work that had used this process, and offers appendices with a variety of working templates.

This framework is intended to be a guiding document to support the evaluation of mock-ups from which an improved design process can result.
